Two miles of American Street in Philadelphia were transformed with green stormwater infrastructure, including a "rails to swales" project that replaced tracks in the median. The 18 city blocks are the largest retrofit thus far by the Philadelphia Water Department and create a better corridor for driving, biking, and walking.
